The Retirement Plan was established in 1955 through Negotiations between UNITE  HERE Local 11 and its predecessors and the Hotel-Restaurant Employer’s Council of Southern California.  Years of planning have produced an actuarially sound plan, which will add the security of a steady income to your retirement.

The Plan is administered by a joint Board of Trustees consisting of Employer and Union representatives who are responsible for managing the Fund under the terms of the Trust Agreement, the Collective Bargaining Agreement and the Plan of Benefits.  The Trustees retain professional advisors, such as an attorney, an accountant, an actuary, an investment consultant, and investment managers, and also employ a Third Party Administrator to handle the day-to-day operations of the Fund.
